Advantages of the ASS®-Opti M forming system
The ASS®-Opti M is the forming system for small pipes. It was developed for inner pipe diameters of 43-97 mm, can be pulled through narrow pipe guides and positioned securely at the weld seam. The defined forming chamber, sintered metal gas distribution and three-lip sealing discs ensure a uniform shielding gas atmosphere - even in pipe bends. The permanently bonded base unit reduces set-up time and incorrect assembly; the sealing discs are easily exchanged when changing sizes. The system supports butt-forming and thus shortens the purging time while maintaining consistently high seam root quality.

- Symmetrical design - easy handling. The gas inlet and outlet are designed identically, making it easier to pull in, position and change direction in the pipe.
- Can be pulled through pipe bends and narrow guides. The compact, flexible design is designed for tight radii - ideal on construction sites and in system layouts with limited space.
