ASS®- Opti M Flex

ASS®- Opti M Flex is the curved version of the Opti-M series. It is used for narrow pipe runs and short gaps where a weld seam needs to be controlled. The flexible centre piece allows controlled insertion into the pipe and facilitates the Precise positioning at the weld root. The variant ASS® - Opti-M is fully compatible with every ASS sealing disc size®- Opti M series can be combined.
How the ASS works®- Opti M Flex
About the Gas inlet inert gas flows into the defined Forming chamber. Sintered metal inserts throttle the specifically selected gas flow rate and distribute the shielding gas along the weld seam. 3-lip sealing discs seal on both sides and centre the unit. With ASS®- Opti M Flex a movable centre section connects the holder together with the sealing discs. The Gas outlet at the rear; the basic assembly is permanently bonded, for other pipe sizes only the sealing disc is changed. With the method of the Shock moulding the oxygen is displaced from the forming chamber and a uniform shielding gas atmosphere is created at the weld seam root.

Accessories & spare parts - ASS®- Opti M Flex
Optionally available is a 10 m PVC-coated pull rope; Gas hose and connection set are included. To the Original spare parts include the inlet and fittings for the gas inlet and end fittings. For fast maintenance, permanently tight connections and high process reliability.
