ASS®-Opti M: Forming system for the highest welding quality

The ASS®-Opti M is for small internal pipe diameters from 43-97 mm constructed. The defined forming chamber, Sintered metal gas distribution and Three-lip sealing discs create stable conditions for a light-coloured, scale-free root side - even in narrow pipe runs and bends. Through Shock moulding the moulding area is flushed in a short time: residual oxygen and moisture are quickly displaced, the Significant reduction in flushing time. The Permanently bonded base unit enables fast replacement of sealing discs and reduces sources of error.

Reduction of the residual oxygen content

ASS®-Opti M generates a controlled shielding gas atmosphere at the welding root. Sintered metal slows down the gas outflow and distributes the shielding gas evenly.

Efficient flushing through impact moulding

Shock-forming enables shorter purging times compared to conventional welding processes - in practice, you can work up to ~50 % faster. At the same time, moisture is displaced from the forming chamber.
