ASS®- Opti M Single
For pipe inner Ø 43 mm - 97 mm
ASS®- Opti M Single is the Sealing on one side Version of the Opti-M series. The system is used when the opposite pipe end is not accessible. This version of the forming unit closes the pipe end and can be positioned quickly at narrow points. As part of the ASS®- Opti-M series with any sealing disc size from ASS®- Opti M combinable.
How the ASS works®- Opti M Single
About the Gas inlet inert gas flows into the installed Forming chamber; The gas flow is slowed down and evenly distributed by the Sintered metal insert. On the seam side, the 3-lip sealing disc and fixes the system in the pipe. The basic unit is permanently bonded - For other pipe sizes, only the sealing disc needs to be replaced. The Gas leakage depends on the situation. With Shock moulding (increased gas flow rate up to 50 litres/min), the oxygen is quickly displaced; the desired shielding gas atmosphere is created at the welding root.

Accessories & spare parts - ASS®- Opti M Single
Optional accessories include a Gas hose in 10 m length with Connection set available; To the Original spare parts include gas pick-up and shielding gas fingers. With all ASS®- Opti-M sizes compatible - for short service times, permanently tight connections and high process reliability.
