ASS®- Opti is the versatile moulding system from Holzer ASS® for medium to large pipe diameters. It covers the RIØ 98-320 mm and is included in the four variants Opti Flex, Opti Fix, Opti Single and Opti Flange available. The modular design enables easy handling, short set-up times and reproducible results. Every Opti "Basic unit" can be easily and quickly customised with the desired sizes of the ASS®- Opti sealing discs be mounted.

ASS®- Opti is available in four versions - each for different applications: Opti Flex with flexible connection for secure positioning in pipe bends, Opti Fix with rigid connection for straight pipe sections, Opti Single with only one sealing disc for open pipe ends/short overall lengths and Opti Flange for forming tasks directly or close to flanges.

ASS®- Opti 3-lip sealing discs

The triple-lip sealing discs reliably seal the forming chamber - even in pipe bends. In 12 sizes (50×115 - 50×330 mm) available, they cover the pipe sizes IØ 98-320 mm (DN 100-300 / 4″-12″) from; can be used and combined with all four ASS®- Opti variants:
ASS®- Opti Flex, ASS®- Opti Fix, ASS®- Opti Single, ASS®- Opti Flange.

Forming system for the highest welding quality in practice

The ASS®- Opti forming system was developed specifically for practical use in pipe, boiler and tank construction. It is based on decades of experience in forming and welding technology and combines a robust design with easy handling. Thanks to its modular design, the system can be flexibly adapted to different pipe diameters and guarantees reliable sealing of the forming area. As a result, users benefit from an efficient, reproducible flushing process - precisely tailored to the requirements of daily welding practice.

Advantages of the ASS®- Opti forming system

With the Opti system, you can achieve "clean" weld seams by efficiently displacing the oxygen in the forming chamber to a minimum using the PUSH FORMING method. The process reduces flushing time, increases efficiency and ensures consistently high quality - even in demanding applications.

Efficient welding preparation with impact purging

ASS®- Opti is the practice-orientated solution for impact forming with internal pipe diameters of 98-320 mm. An increased gas flow (up to 50 litres/min.) flushes the defined forming chamber in a short time; sintered metal distributes the protective gas in the flushing chamber calmly and evenly. This quickly displaces oxygen and any moisture present and reliably prevents tarnishing on the root side.
