Advantages of the ASS®-Opti forming system
The ASS®-Opti forming system quickly creates a controlled inert gas atmosphere in the area of the seam root - thanks to impact forming, a defined forming chamber and flow-calming sintered metal inserts. The three-lip sealing discs ensure a secure hold and reliable sealing, even in pipe bends. Opti covers the pipe ID range 98-320 mm and can be used as Flex, Fix, Single and Flange. This makes forming easier, faster and more reproducible in practice - with a clean, low-oxidation root side.
