How the ASS works®- Opti Fix

The shielding gas enters the moulding chamber via the gas inlet and is Sintered metal inserts The inert gas is slowed down by the flow - so it is distributed evenly in the moulding chamber. The inflow of shielding gas at an increased flow rate (up to 50 litres/min) enables rapid purging of the forming chamber and creates a reliable shielding gas atmosphere in the forming area. 3-lip sealing discs seal on both sides and hold the unit securely in position. The Rigid connection stabilises the forming unit and supports straight-line guidance. As standard, the Gas leakage at the front; depending on the situation, a gas outlet at the rear is also possible.
