ASS®- Opti Flex

ASS®- Opti Flex is the flexible design of the ASS®- Opti series and is ideal for medium to large Pipe interiordiameter and covers Pipe inside Ø from 98-320 mm from. Specially designed for secure positioning in pipe bends. The flexible connection of the holders adapts to the pipe run and the triple-lip sealing discs on both sides provide a reliable seal. Opti Flex is compatible with all ASS sealing disc sizes.®- Opti series can be combined.
How the ASS works®- Opti Flex
ASS®- Opti Flex consists of the front and rear Recording each with a 3-lip sealing disc. The flexible Metal fabric hose connects the front and rear receptacles. After positioning the forming unit (e.g. using phosphor tape/light effect), the area around the weld seam is sealed; the Sinert gas is fed into the forming chamber via the gas inlet by means of shock forming (increased gas flow of up to 50 litres/min) - depending on the situation and the desired purging speed. This quickly reduces the oxygen concentration, protects the weld root and minimises tarnishing. Front gas outlet is the Standard version. Rear gas outlet possible on request.

Accessories & spare parts - ASS®- Opti Flex
Optional accessories: PVC-coated pull rope 10 m incl. gas hose and connection set. Original spare parts: Holders, screw connections for Gas inlet intake and Rear mount. Flexible Connecting hoses 150/250/350 mm and Rigid connection 80 mm - manufactured to fit perfectly. Compatible with all Opti-Flex sizes for fast maintenance and process reliability.
