ASS®- Opti Single
For pipe inner Ø 98 mm - 320 mm
For applications with one-sided sealing developed, closes ASS®-Opti Single individual pipe ends reliably. The design follows the Principle the ASS®- pipe stopper and is used when the other end of the pipe is not directly accessible. The single variant therefore complements the ASS®- Opti series is a compact solution for medium to large internal pipe diameters. The following can be combined ASS®- Opti Single with all ASS sealing disc sizes®- Opti series.
How the ASS works®- Opti Single
The shielding gas enters the gas inlet into the Forming chamberand that Sintered metal ensures a controlled and even gas flow. The oxygen in the forming chamber is quickly purged/displaced by means of shock moulding (gas flow rate up to 50 litres/min). The 3-lip sealing disc takes over sealing and positioning in the pipe; for ASS®- Opti Single the seam side is sealed - ideal for the one-sided forming. The gas outlet side can be designed variably so that the discharge remains adapted to the situation.

Accessories & spare parts - ASS®- Opti Single
A 10 m gas hose including 1/4″ connection set is available as an optional accessory. To the Original spare parts include base unit and screw connection. Compatible with all sizes of ASS®- Sealing discs - for permanent sealing, high process reliability and short disassembly and assembly times when changing the sealing discs.
