How the ASS works®– Prime reduction

At the ASS®– Prime reduction forming bladders of different sizes can be combined. For example, a larger primary bag on the one hand with a smaller secondary bag can be combined on the other side. After positioning, both bags are inflated and reliably seal the area of the reduction. This creates a targeted confined forming chamber.

The forming gas is on the larger page introduced, fills the forming chamber and displaces the residual oxygen towards the secondary bag. There, the gas is controlled via Sintered metal discharged. Even with longer reducers or several welds the system remains flexible: the connecting hose between the bags can be adjusted accordingly. This allows the entire reduction area to be specifically formed.
