ASS®-Prime applications
The inflatable pipe weld purging system ASS®-Prime is designed for 6 applications
With the 6 application options that have been developed, the "blow-out at the back" & "blow-out at the front" are about the possibility of adapting the blow-out direction to the respective situation.
Rear air outlet
In the "BLOW-OUT BACK" application, the flushing of the pipe weld purging chamber is controlled via the primary bag and the blow-out via the secondary bag. The position of the sintered metal in this pipe weld purging unit is used to flush the pipe weld purging chamber efficiently.
Front air outlet
In the "BLOW OUT FRONT" application, the purging of the pipe weld purging chamber and the blow-out are controlled via the primary bag. The position of the sinter metal is decisive for the purging of the oxygen.
T-piece
The T-PANEL application is similar to the "BACK DUMP" and "FRONT DUMP" applications.
With the horizontally mounted pipe weld purging unit, the blow-out direction can be selected as required. The individual pipe weld purging bubble is designed so that flushing of the pipe weld purging chamber and blow-out is possible in this application.
Reduction
As the word "REDUCTION" suggests, this application involves welding pipes with different pipe dimensions together. The blow-out direction can be selected individually.
End piece
The ENDSTÜCK application is used where flushing of the pipe weld purging chamber and blow-out must take place on one side.
Barrier
The WATERPROOFING application is used to seal pipelines, such as those used in swimming pool construction to localise leaks or when extending existing pipelines.
