ASS®– Prime T-piece
For forming tee connections
The ASS®– Prime T-piece is for forming T-piece connections with several welds designed. Two purging bladders are positioned in the continuous main pipe, while an additional purging bladder Junction seals. This creates a shared, purposefully limited Forming chamber within the T-geometry.
How the ASS works®– Prime T-piece
After positioning, the two forming bladders in the main pipe as well as the additional purging bladder in the Junction inflated. This seals the entire T-zone and creates a closed Forming chamber educated.
The forming gas flows into the chamber, distributes itself in the main pipe and then rises into the branch. In the process, the residual oxygen is displaced and [discharged] via the designated Exit points with sintered metal controlled exhaustion. Depending on the installation situation, the forming gas can be exhausted forwards or backwards. In this way, all relevant weld seam areas on the T-piece can be reliably purged. The purging time remains roughly at the level of a comparable ASS®– Prime 1 Systems.Product & price enquiry
