Construction of the ASS®-Prime forming system
During the development of the inflatable moulding system ASS®-The requirements of high pressure ratios were at the centre of the project. Based on detailed gas flow simulations, factors such as flow velocity and pressure behaviour were examined in detail. The aim of the optimisation was to effectively reduce the air content within the forming chamber and ensure low residual oxygen values. This results in a uniform gas exchange, which contributes to consistently good welding results.
Material selection and material properties for maximum performance
The materials used play an important role in ensuring the required pressure resistance of the system. For this purpose, the forming system ASS®-prime neoprene, a material that has more robust properties than classic fabric bags. Extensive test series confirm that neoprene withstands increased pressures better and therefore achieves particularly low residual oxygen values. All components used are dimensioned accordingly to ensure reliable operation in practical use.
Customised solutions for every need
Users benefit from the ASS forming system®-Prime from a large selection of different dimensions and configuration options. The system can be customised in terms of length, diameter and the combination of individual components to suit the respective application conditions. Thanks to flexible production, customer requests can be realised quickly and special requirements fulfilled promptly.
Rarely defective, quickly repaired
In practical use, ASS is characterised by®-Prime is characterised by simple maintenance and uncomplicated repair options. Individual components are available at short notice and can be easily replaced if necessary. In the event of a defective primary or secondary bag, a special cover is usually all that is needed to quickly restore the function. An integrated triple pressurisation system reduces the risk of frequent damage, allowing users to benefit from longer maintenance intervals.

From the initial idea through design and development to assembly, the entire production of the ASS®-Prime in Upper Austria. Components are mainly procured from regional suppliers, which means that European quality standards can be reliably maintained at all times. This production method enables short delivery routes, high flexibility for customised products and consistently reliable product quality for users worldwide.
