Water-soluble forming film
Area of application: Nuclear industry, petrochemical industry, food and beverage industry
The transparent forming film is a completely biodegradable, water-soluble film that can be used as a so-called „rinsing dam“ during TIG welding. When Forming systems are impractical or too expensive, the forming film is an effective alternative. It is flexible, robust and can be used for stainless, duplex and chrome steels and the like.
The transparent film is cut to the required size and can be pierced for gas inlet or gas outlet without the risk of tearing. It is pressure-stable in the insulation area so that a higher overpressure can be maintained in the forming area.
The forming film can be positioned in the immediate vicinity of the welding area and is dissolved with water after welding.
